Jody J. White, owner of Precision Reporting, Inc., graduated from the American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1991 with an associate of business degree, court reporting major. In September of '91 she obtained her Registered Professional Reporter, RPR, designation which required passing a written knowledge test and three sections of a skills test at a maximum of 225 words per minute with 95 percent accuracy. Registered members of the National Court Reporters Association must earn 3.0 CEUs (1 CEU equals 10 hours) every three years in order to maintain their professional certification. May of 2004 Jody acquired the Registered Merit Reporter, RMR, advanced-level certification which, again, involved passing a written knowledge test and three sections of a skills test at a maximum of 260 words per minute with 95 percent accuracy.
Jody has been a freelance court reporter in Lincoln, Nebraska, since 1991 and is a member of the Nebraska Court Reporters Association and the National Court Reporters Association.
